Well, not exactly. But we are just wrapping up the last real workingness of Summer, which as you probably know takes most of my time/attention/life during may-august.
SO I'm hoping to finally finish with all the requests I've asked people to request from me, I still need to proofread LadyDeliz's book
and there are art contests I need to enter, and I've been putting off working on my submissions for RP groups, and then miscellany arts and everything...
so, yeah. :bademoticon: Hoping to get some progress on these things in the remainder of the month.
HOWEVER, my family is doing a big house-wide cleaning thing and throwing out like everything, and since I've been away that means basically I've got a huuuuge pile of my possessions to sort through, so it's very possible that boring real-life stuff like cleaning will take up my precious free days for the next week. :bademoticon: We shall see.

New year, new. . .?
I have not drawn much this past year. Mostly because I've been focused on writing. I have a finished novel (UnFamiliar) which I plan to revise this year and hopefully move toward publication. It's an entirely daunting task, but a necessary step forward in my ambitions toward authorhood. I'm also working on a second novel in the meantime, which I hope to complete this year as well.
I have not precisely 'lost interest' in art so much as between work and reading and writing and all the little things that consume free time during a day, I just haven't made it a priority. Writing has always been my first love, and I feel no shame in granting it m
Okay, fine, requests again... (CLOSED)
First, I'm still fairly apathetic, but I keep realizing that A) I have done almost no art this year at all, and B) I need to practice faces more still. So. Like a while ago, I'm going to offer character headshot portraits. This is a pressure-but-low-pressure sort of activity that may be able to ease me back into productive mode. We can hope, right?

Nothing to report, but I am still alive.
Been having a pretty apathetic year so far, not really drawing much of anything, not really writing. . . ignoring my responsibilities and groups. A few hundred watch-alerts drop off every day, since I've been over the 10k limit for months, and I just don't care right now.
My computers are all fixed and working well, though I never did get Skype back up for some reason. :s I just bought the slacker-backer for Deadfire, and have been finally playing Project Eternity I. Is a good game, I would love to make a good game some day. I need to become competent and amazing, but it's too much work and I don't care.

Computer stuff and life things and tiredness...
I've had both the main storage hard drive of my desktop and the cooling fan of my laptop die within a month of each other. I just got the replacement hard drive into my desktop, my primary art/offline machine, so I may be able to start drawing again soon.
If I seem to be gone and not doing anything, that's why. I have my logins for skype and many other things on my old laptop, which will be a complicated fix and may take some time. And I'm too lazy/busy to hunt down and change them all, as well as being constantly optimistic that the situation will be resolved soon. Apologies to all, if I'm awol, again, this is why. Don't worry, Footnote is half the size of my other novels. It's even half the size of the Heroicits series.
